SDG1: Ending Poverty
Take care of yourself and then spread love." We can donate a portion of our investments, salaries, allowances, or unused items to people or organizations in need. Alternatively, we can invest our time and energy as volunteers to help those in need and make the world a better place.
SDG2: Eliminating Hunger
Treasure food, balance nutrition, and use what we buy just right. By cultivating sustainable concepts in our daily lives, we can all be helpful in sustaining the life of our planet.
SDG3: Health and Well-being
Faced with the threat of infectious diseases, we all have a responsibility to protect ourselves and others by taking necessary precautions. In addition to dealing with epidemics, we must also avoid behaviors that harm our own health and the health and lives of others, including avoiding dangerous driving, refusing to drive under the influence of alcohol, combating drug and substance abuse, and placing importance on mental health.
SDG4: Quality Education
The government should strive to avoid disparities in educational resources between urban and rural areas, and create a fair and affordable high-quality education system. We should also proactively eliminate prejudices against vocational education and discrimination based on academic qualifications. Let's learn to become global citizens who promote sustainable development for our environment and all species.
SDG5: Gender Equality
We often hear about gender equality and equal rights for men and women, but women still frequently face various difficulties, discrimination, and unequal treatment in the workplace and in daily life. The long-term accumulation of ideas about hierarchy and deeply ingrained stereotypes require us to respect women and eliminate discrimination, while also respecting men and learning to equally respect all LGBTQ transgender individuals, and implementing complete gender equality.
SDG6: Clean Water and Sanitation
The annual average precipitation in Taiwan is about 2500 millimeters, which is 2.6 times the world average. However, due to the small size of the island and its high population density, the actual per capita precipitation is only one-fifth of the world average. Meeting the needs of people's livelihoods, agricultural irrigation, and technological and industrial water use has become increasingly difficult. Therefore, learning to conserve and reuse water is becoming increasingly important.
SDG7: Affordable and clean energy
We need a third industrial (energy) revolution, abandoning our dependence on increasingly depleted fossil fuels and turning to the use of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, geothermal, ocean currents, tides, or hydropower. This will not only maintain a good and convenient lifestyle and promote sustained technological development, but also protect the health of the earth's environment, allowing life to survive sustainably.
SDG8: Decent Work and Economic Crowth
Corporate development should take into account the factors of E-environmental protection, S-social responsibility, and G-corporate governance, making it a sustainable investment enterprise that considers both environmental and social responsibilities while providing a good salary, fair and safe workplace environment. Taking the tourism industry as an example, it not only creates employment opportunities for young people and promotes product sales but also takes into account carbon reduction, energy conservation, biodiversity conservation, and the inheritance and innovation of local culture.
SDG9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
As extreme weather events become more frequent, resilient cities are increasingly important. We should all learn how to cope with disaster risks, reserve disaster relief energy in peacetime, and improve our disaster preparedness so that we can quickly reorganize our living functions and order after a disaster and transform into a resilient city.
SDG10: Reduced Inequalities
Challenges such as racial discrimination, gender issues, and wealth inequality are all pressing issues that we are facing, exacerbated by the impact of the pandemic. This has caused fear and disruption to daily life, work, and health, with varying degrees of threat depending on one's social position, further exacerbating the problem of inequality.
SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Production
It is everyone's responsibility to make their hometown a better place! Guided by the concept of sustainable development, we can start by improving ourselves, building friendly neighborhoods, protecting the natural environment, advocating for reliable and resilient infrastructure, promoting green public spaces and mass transportation, preserving and promoting tangible and intangible cultural heritage, supporting local revitalization, and creating jobs and employment opportunities.
SDG12: Responsible Consumption and Production
Human desires are endless, but resources are relatively limited. Impulsive or unconscious consumption ultimately leads to unnecessary waste. As we pursue economic development and prosperous lives, changing our consumption and production habits, learning to coexist and thrive with the planet, is a crucial step towards environmental sustainability.
SDG13: Climate Action
Human beings are the creators of environmental problems, but also the only ones on Earth with the ability to solve problems and allow all living things and the environment to coexist and prosper.

One good intention can lead to countless actions. Guided by the core principle of sustainable development, "not only meeting current needs but also considering the future," we hope that we can all learn together to adopt positive thinking for a sustainable life on Earth.
SDG14: Life Below Water
The oceans are facing the challenges of warming and acidification due to excessive greenhouse gas emissions. Overfishing is pushing marine species to the brink of extinction, and the indiscriminate disposal of plastics and chemicals is poisoning and polluting our oceans. Let us learn to change our mindset and take action together to protect the oceans, safeguard precious marine life, and effectively save ourselves.
SDG15: Life on Land
The development by human beings in the natural environment, coupled with the increasingly severe impacts of climate change, have led to a sharp decline in biodiversity and an imbalance in ecosystems. Biodiversity has long provided for human needs such as food, clothing, shelter, transportation, and various aspects of daily life, all of which are provided by different types of organisms. The protection and conservation of various ecosystems on land are essential for human life.
SDG16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
The goals of peace, justice, and sound institutions are to 'promote a peaceful and diverse society, ensure judicial equality, and establish a credible and widely accepted system that incorporates public opinion.' There are many specific goals, including promoting national and international legalization, ensuring that everyone has access to a fair judicial system, and establishing efficient and transparent systems at all levels.
SDG 17:Partnerships For The Goals
Facing increasingly severe threats from extreme weather, biodiversity loss, habitat destruction, environmental resource depletion, population pressure, and the imminent danger of a 2-degree Celsius rise in temperature, it can sometimes make people feel helpless, anxious, and even angry. However, no matter what, after processing these emotions, I hope that everyone can still maintain optimism and move forward with hope.
