In 1984, the Yilan County government designated the national orchid as the county flower of Yilan. The national orchid, known for its fragrance and elegance, has been an important subject for many literati in poetry and painting. Whether in bloom or not, it presents a Zen-like and elegant artistic conception, making it unique in the world of orchids and possessing a sublime artistic taste, making it a famous ornamental potted plant. With the concept of sustainable floral art, the 2024 Green Expo Orchid Gallery uses recycled materials for cultivation and layout, and will transplant them to suitable locations for reuse after the exhibition, presenting the elegant and versatile posture of the county flower of Yilan and the beauty of the language of flowers.
