According to the "State of the World's Plants and Fungi 2020" report, because the ecological environment has been seriously destroyed, around 40% of the world's plant species are threatened with extinction. Since plants are the most important producers in the ecosystem, plant extinctions will lead to extinctions in other organisms that rely on them.
The Department of Herbaria brings together over 20 years of knowledge from the "Luodong Community University Plant Class," and is expected to showcase various leaf specimens, allowing the public to understand the rich and diverse existence of these beautiful plants. We hope that the public will develop more interest in plants, absorb knowledge from this interest, foster care, and take concrete actions to protect plants and biodiversity.
